Gonzalo Barahona Uribe creates paintings, drawings, sculptures and objects that he converges to form new ideas in various art projects such as animation films, stage design, video projections and exhibitions.
He collaborates with many people from different branches – from contemporary dance to theoretical physics.
His special interest is the conjunction between art and science. Based in Cologne and Berlin he is currently researching into visual possibilities of representing the phenomenon vacuum.
At present, he has been accepted for the PHD programme at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (HFBK) in Hamburg as a scholarship holder from the research and science comission of the Chilenean Government.
